Blowdown water treatment

Some blowdown water treatments leave behind too many recalcitrant compounds; also, sometimes a blowdown does not reduce COD to optimum levels for immediate reuse. Arvia’s systems are the best and most effective tertiary water polishing systems available and have been installed in countless different locations worldwide.
Wastewater with high biological oxygen demand, chemical oxygen demand and suspended solid levels normally requires industrial water equipment such as screening, filtering, clarifying, a biological bed and sometimes coagulation and flocculation.

Nyex™ is often the best water technology to sit downstream from these processes to manage the remaining hard-to-treat organic contaminants.

However, it can also be deployed as a very effective pre-treatment side chain to support treatments such as a biological bed or reverse osmosis system. Nyex™ removes the chemical pollutants which could damage these processes or make maintenance more labour intensive, should pollutants enter these systems.
